The SW3 is an all-around, outstanding performer with a small footprint. With flat response all the way to 20hz, the SW3 remains clean and composed where most 12 inch subwoofers bottom out. It’s the best-selling model in the SW series and one of the cleanest-sounding subwoofers on the market. Its small size also makes it easy to run multiples around the room for improved bass distribution.
Incorporating high-tech circuitry and top of the line components, Induction Dynamics subwoofers produce a full range of bass without the booming resonance peaks and muddy distortion commonly found in subs. To power them, we’ve designed the A-series subwoofer amplifiers.
By utilizing acoustic suspension enclosures, high-excursion drivers, and a filter circuit to eliminate resonance peaks, Induction Dynamics subwoofers produce clean, authoritiative bass throughout the entire sub-bass range.
When coupled with an A2 or A3 amplifier, the SW series also takes advantage of a patented frequency-selective excursion limiter. The excursion limiter allows the subwoofer to produce ultralow frequencies, but prevents the driver from moving outside its linear operating range. The limiter is accoustically transparent, operating only at specific frequencies, without audible switching.
